WHO WE ARE

The Pan African Choir nonprofit organization, based in Vermont and internationally known through its Uganda operations as Pan African Choir Uganda (PACU), is a cultural exchange and charitable organization dedicated to advancing education, opportunity, and community development through the arts. We use African choral music, poetry, and folk traditions as instruments for learning, empowerment, and cross-cultural engagement, building structured pathways that connect communities in Uganda with global partners.

We are committed to supporting underserved and vulnerable children and youth by equipping them with creative, educational, and practical skills that foster self-sufficiency, confidence, and cultural visibility. Our programs help to strengthen community initiatives in Uganda while promoting a continuous exchange of African creativity and collaboration around the world.
