Founded in 2013 by Simon Peter Yiga, The Pan African Choir is a Ugandan performing ensemble dedicated to celebrating African choral music, folk songs, traditional dance, poetry and cultural heritage. Through performances, educational programs and international cultural exchange, PACU serves as a cultural ambassador for Uganda and Africa.
From the stages of the Royal Commonwealth to international choral festivals across continents, PACU carries the living voice of Africa around the world.

The Pan African Choir represented Uganda and the African continent at a prestigious Royal Commonwealth engagement, performing traditional and contemporary African choral works to Her Majesty, The Queen of England.
Nigeria & Kenya
PACU participated in the Africa Sings Festival, celebrating the wealth and diversity of African choral traditions alongside ensembles from across the continent.
Powell River, British Columbia, Canada
One of the world's most celebrated choral festivals, the International Choral Kathaumixw brought PACU to the global stage in British Columbia, Canada, showcasing Ugandan and African choral artistry to an international audience.

The Pan African Choir is available for concerts, festivals, cultural events, official functions and international tours. We also offer solo artist bookings, speaker engagements, educational workshops and cultural exchange programmes.
Pan African Choir Inc. is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) charitable organization (EIN 85-4153966) founded by Simon Peter Yiga to support the broader cultural and educational mission of The Pan African Choir in Uganda. Through fundraising, international volunteer coordination, music archiving and cultural preservation, and sponsorship of music education in Uganda, the Pan African Choir charity connects donors, educators and cultural institutions with community-based initiatives.
Pan African Choir Inc. and The Pan African Choir (PACU) are separate legal entities. PACU is a Ugandan performing ensemble; Pan African Choir Inc. is its U.S. charitable support organisation.
