Our Journey
Where Music Becomes a Mission
The Pan African Choir began as a vision—to celebrate Africa’s rich cultural legacy, empower underprivileged youth, and connect people around the world through the timeless beauty of African choral music and folklore.
Our journey is a story of passion, resilience, and dedication to using music as a bridge between cultures and a tool for transforming lives.
What started as a small choir with a dream has grown into a movement that inspires global audiences while creating opportunities for the next generation. Together, we are writing a legacy where music becomes a mission.
How It All Started
Our journey is deeply intertwined with the essence of Africa—its rhythms, harmonies, and the powerful stories passed through generations. With a mission to share this heritage, the Pan African Choir was formed in 2013 by Rotarian Simon Yiga to preserve and elevate the traditions of African choral music.
What began with local performances soon evolved into an international effort to inspire, connect, and empower through music. From community halls to global tours across Europe and the United Kingdom, we’ve carried the spirit of Africa to diverse audiences.
